Posting and Use Policy
In force from: 21 October 2026 | Operator: Csegény Péter e.v. (the Provider or CEKIVA), 1212 Budapest, Telep utca 1A., Hungary, tax number: 45748703-1-43
1. Purpose
CEKIVA posts through the social platforms' official APIs. Protecting that connection is in everyone's interest: if one user abuses it, a platform can restrict the access of the whole service. This policy says what may and may not be published with CEKIVA, which automatic limits apply, and how to ask for a review.
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. By using CEKIVA, the user accepts it.
2. Supported use
- Genuine, organic communication: building your own business or your clients' brands and services with content that gives value.
- Scheduled publishing on LinkedIn, Facebook Pages and Facebook Reels, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky and Discord – within the limits below.
- Approval workflows: reviewing and approving content with team members and clients.
- Using the idea library, the Viral generator and the AI assistant to produce your own content.
3. Prohibited activities and content
A. Content
- Deception and fraud: phishing, pyramid schemes, “get rich quick” schemes, illegal gambling, promoting financial products without the required licence.
- Malicious or disguised links: linking to pages with malware or ransomware; using link shorteners (e.g. bit.ly, tinyurl, t.co) to hide the real destination. During the first 7 days the system rejects link shorteners automatically.
- Manipulative affiliate activity; feeding bought or farmed accounts in bulk.
- Hate and unlawful content: content that violates others' personality rights, defames, is pornographic or sexual, infringes copyright or is violent.
- Content that breaks the rules of the platform it is sent to (e.g. Meta's Community Standards, LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies, TikTok's Terms of Service).
- Regulated topics (health, money, law, alcohol, licensed professions): the user is responsible for the content; the idea library is not professional advice – see section 2/C of the Terms of Service.
- Posting on behalf of others without permission: a client's accounts may only be used with the client's knowledge and consent.
- Labelling AI content: the user is responsible for labelling required by the platforms' rules. CEKIVA only sets the TikTok AI label at the user's explicit request, never automatically.
B. Technical and network abuse
- Spam and flooding: aggressively repeating the same or essentially the same content to the same channels. The system does not measure similarity, but the daily limit, the time gap and the anomaly monitor flag extreme cases.
- Account and quota manipulation: disposable e-mail addresses; several accounts with the same mailbox (Gmail dots and +tags mean the same mailbox); several accounts to get round the trial; connecting the same social profile or page to several workspaces or accounts.
- Referral programme abuse: referring yourself with another account or another address of the same mailbox.
- API abuse: scripted flood-like calls, getting round the rate limits, sharing an API key.
4. Automatic limits
The limits protect the platforms' APIs. There are three separate groups of rules; they must not be confused.
A. The first 7 days after registration (every account)
| Rule | Limit |
|---|---|
| Daily limit | At most 5 posts per platform per day, across all the account's workspaces (by the day of sending, Budapest time) |
| Time gap | At least 30 minutes between two posts to the same platform, per workspace |
| Link shorteners | Rejected by the system |
| Text check | The post text is compared with Shield's text rules; text that breaks a rule cannot be scheduled |
| After the 7 days | These limits no longer apply; posting costs credits |
B. Trial workspace box (until the first credit purchase)
| Rule | Limit |
|---|---|
| Own workspace | Works under the rules in (A) |
| Additional workspace | One can be created (an archived one counts) |
| Social accounts in the additional workspace | At most 3, one per platform |
| Posts from the additional workspace | 5 in total |
| The same profile or page in two workspaces | Cannot be connected |
| Lifting | The first real credit purchase removes these limits at once |
C. Public API
| Rule | Limit |
|---|---|
| Calls | 60 calls per minute per API key; 10 per minute for generation, video and upload calls |
| Invalid keys | 20 invalid keys within 10 minutes from one IP address: that address has to wait |
| New account | No API key in the first 24 hours; at most 2 active keys in the first 7 days |
5. Automatic protection and human decisions
The system flags automatically and in some cases pauses things temporarily, but suspending an account and excluding someone permanently is always decided by a person, the operator.
- Shield block: with a Shield subscription, and for the text check during the first 7 days, a post that breaks a rule cannot be scheduled and the system says what to fix. Without a Shield subscription the post goes out and we tell you about the findings.
- Automatic queue stop: if a social platform rejects a publication for security or policy reasons (spam suspicion, policy violation, revoked permission; not an expired token or a rate limit), CEKIVA holds the author's other scheduled posts. The posts are not deleted. The user is told by e-mail and the operator is alerted at once.
- Anomaly monitor: the system reports unusual patterns (many sign-ups from one IP address, the same social page under several users, many posts in a short time, a sudden spike in sign-ups) to the operator. This is not a sanction and does not block anyone automatically.
- Account suspension and exclusion: a human decision of the operator. On suspicion the account can be suspended (login paused); for serious or deliberate abuse it can be terminated. The user is told of every such decision by e-mail.
6. Review and appeal
- Notice: you get an e-mail about a publishing hold and about an account suspension, with the reason and what to do.
- Request: if you think it is a mistake, tell us. For a publishing hold use the “Request a review” button on the Social Publisher page; for an account suspension or exclusion reply to the notice e-mail or write to info@cekiva.com. Explain why your activity did not break a rule and attach evidence if you have it.
- Deadline: the operator decides on the request within two working days (Saturdays and Sundays do not count). A publishing hold is also reviewed without any request within two working days of its start.
- Result: we tell you the decision, with reasons, by e-mail. If the hold is lifted the held posts go back into the queue or the account works again; if it is rejected the credits of the held posts are returned.
- If you disagree with the decision you can ask again. Your statutory remedies (consumer protection, courts) are not affected.
7. Termination and credits
When an account ends, unused credits expire as set out in section 2/A of the Terms of Service; there is no payout. If an account is terminated for deliberate abuse, the Provider may refuse a new registration.
8. Changes and contact
We tell users about material changes at their registered e-mail address; a change takes effect after the notice. Questions, complaints or requests: info@cekiva.com.
