1. Introduction

By using the CEKIVA platform, you accept these General Terms and Conditions (GTC). Please read carefully.

2. Services

CEKIVA is an AI-based social media post generation and scheduling software for independent creators and small businesses, offering AI text, image and video generation, connection of social media accounts and automatic posting, as well as payment solutions (Stripe).

2/A. Credits and referral programme

Credits are bought by the user (through Stripe) or received as referral commission. Credits can only be used inside CEKIVA's services.

Credits cannot be exchanged for cash. CEKIVA does not pay out credits — neither bought nor commission credits, on any ground. Unused credits expire when the account ends. In an exceptional case the provider may decide on a payout case by case; the user has no claim to one.

Referral programme: every user gets a referral link. When someone signs up through the link, the referrer earns commission, in credits, on every later credit purchase the referred user makes with real money. The commission is a percentage of the credits bought, set by the provider and always shown on the Referral programme page; the provider may change it, and a change does not affect commission already credited.

A referral is created only at sign-up and cannot be changed afterwards. Self-referral (your own account or another address of the same mailbox) earns no commission. In case of abuse, or a refunded or charged-back payment, the provider may reverse credited commission and may end the programme. Referrers cannot learn the name or e-mail address of the people they referred.

2/B. CEKIVA Shield (content check)

CEKIVA Shield is an optional, paid feature: before a post goes out it compares the post with the technical and content rules the social media platforms have officially published, and if a rule is broken it can stop the post, with a suggested fix. The check covers the text and, on the higher levels, images and videos; image and video checks use artificial intelligence, whose findings can be wrong.

Declaration: CEKIVA Shield is a technical and algorithmic gatekeeper. It does not protect against reports by other users (user reports), malicious complaints or the platforms' subjective, individual human moderation. It only protects against the consequences of a possible breach of a platform's rules, and gives no guarantee even for that: platform rules can change and their decisions are independent of us.

The monthly fee is payable in credits, per platform or for all platforms, at the price shown before you order. The fee covers 30 days from the order and renews automatically if the account has enough credits; renewal can be stopped at any time, and protection stays until the end of the period already paid. When you move to a higher level, the difference is charged. A one-off check without a subscription is paid per use, at the price shown before you order. The provider may change the prices; the change does not affect the price of a period already bought. This section applies from 15 October 2026.

The line “Checked by CEKIVA Shield” is an optional setting of the user. It shows that Shield checked the post before it went out; it does not mean that the post complies with the platform's rules, and it is not an approval or endorsement by the platform.

2/C. Idea library and uploaded images

The idea library is for information only. It is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice and does not replace the opinion of a professional. Legal references apply to Hungarian law; other countries may have different rules. Ideas on health, money, law, alcohol, data protection, professional licences and brand use are available in Hungarian and English only; if the texts differ, the Hungarian text prevails. Using the ideas is the user's own responsibility. This does not exclude any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.

For the personal data in uploaded images, videos and texts, the user is the controller, and CEKIVA stores and transmits them on the user's instructions (processor, GDPR Article 28). CEKIVA does not blur or edit images: covering faces, number plates and client data before uploading is the user's task.

The user warrants that they hold the rights and consents needed for the uploaded content (including for likeness, voice and personal data) and that the content does not infringe anyone's rights.

2/D. Client approval and e-mail notice

In an agency workspace the user may enter a client's name and e-mail address so that CEKIVA e-mails them the link to the posts waiting for approval. The text of the e-mail is fixed; it is sent in CEKIVA's name on the user's behalf. The reply address and the hidden copy (BCC) are the sending user's, so the user can check in their own mailbox that the e-mail was sent and arrived. At most 5 such e-mails per workspace and 20 per user can be sent per day.

For the client's name and e-mail address the user is the controller and CEKIVA processes them on the user's instructions (processor, GDPR Article 28), only to send the approval e-mail and to keep a log of the sending. We do not use the data for marketing and do not pass it on beyond the e-mail delivery provider (MailerSend). When the workspace is archived, the client's name and e-mail address are deleted, and the sending log is kept without the recipient.

The user warrants that they are entitled to contact the client at this address, that the client knows about the cooperation, and that the address really belongs to the client. The function must not be used to send advertising or unsolicited messages; in case of abuse CEKIVA may restrict it. This section is effective from 17 October 2026.

3. Social media integration (TikTok, Meta)

Users have the option to connect their CEKIVA account with third-party services (e.g. TikTok, Facebook, Instagram). During such integrations, we only use the data and functions (e.g. video posting) that you have specifically authorized. You can revoke these permissions at any time in the settings of the given platform (e.g. TikTok).

4. Limitation of Liability

The service provider is not responsible for content created by third parties published on the platform. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the possible shutdown of integrated systems (e.g. TikTok API).

5. Termination

The user may delete his account at any time, thereby terminating this contract. The service provider reserves the right to refuse the service in case of violation of the General Terms and Conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service provider is not responsible for third-party content published on the platform. The service provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, data loss, or lost profits arising from use of the platform. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the possible shutdown of integrated systems (e.g. TikTok API).

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to unilaterally modify these General Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of changes through the platform or by e-mail. The modified terms take effect upon publication, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the changes.

8. Governing Law

This agreement and its interpretation are governed by the laws of Hungary. Hungarian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms.
